Mast Farm Inn is the perfect mountain/country inn!! If I could give this place more than five stars, I would!!!
There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing this place is!! Cannot wait to go back!! The original cabin was built in 1810 and is still used today (Ask to stay in the Loom House for this one). It’s the oldest cabin in North Carolina where people can still spend the night. Inside the farm house itself, it’s exactly what you would want a farm house inn to look like. I fell in love instantly. We stayed in Nell’s Room. The bed was so comfy and their bathroom amenities… use their products, they smell so good! And the FOOD!! Y’all, it was better than any restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. My husband even voluntarily ate spinach 🤣 They worked around my food allergy without hesitation. Chef Cody is amazing!! The barn on the property was turned into an outdoor family area where you can sit and enjoy the pretty country/mountain scenery with an on-site var service. They have board games or you can bring your own. Also, on the weekends they have live music. There’s even horses and goats for you to pet. And, nighttime front porch sitting while watching the lightning bugs come out and the nearby neighbor shot off their leftover fireworks over the barn. Stop by and visit the Mast farm inn you won't regret it. A beautiful place were great and beautiful people live and work.
The Mast farm inn is one of a kind nestle in NC mountains. Build in 1810 the inn is still full of it's old charm. But with all the new amenities. Alyson and her staff are there to serve and they do there job great. We went for 1 night and we ended up staying 4 . What that say about having a good time a really good time. Charming Dog Friendly Inn
We chose the Mast Farm inn because it recently became dog friendly. We stayed in a charming cabin and everything was clean, cozy and welcoming. We enjoyed an evening drink at the barn and loved visiting the resident ponies, donkey and goats. Quiet couple retreat in the mountains
My wife and I planned a weekend trip to the Mast Farm Inn and it was one of our best trips. We stayed in the Woodshop cabin and loved it. It was cozy and clean, had such charm and so comfy beds. We sat outside, listened to the stream, and watched the baby geese. The breakfast was to die for. We loved the homemade French toast. The grounds were beautiful and well taken care of. Wonderful stay at The Mast Farm Inn!
The Mast Farm Inn holds such a special place in my heart after my recent stay this May. I took my mom for an overnight to celebrate her birthday and Mother's Day and we enjoyed every moment of our stay. The Inn is incredibly charming and holds so much rich history. We stayed in the Joe Mast room, and it was impeccably clean, and the bedding and pillows were so cozy. Allisyn and Alan made us feel like family and left a lovely birthday card and treats in our room for my mom. Alan gave us a tour of the property and the experience of feeding the goats, donkey (Howie, our favorite), and the horses. We loved relaxing on the front porch, wondering the grounds and playing Scrabble in the common area. We also enjoyed the delicious homemade breakfast and hot coffee in the morning. Beautiful place!
Beautiful place! We stayed in the Cherry room. This place has so much to offer. They have cabins, and horses! The flowers are captivating. Wonderful place to stay. Allisyn and Alan are very attentive to their guest, they were great and accommodating to our needs. We stayed in the Raspberry cabin and we loved it. All the staff were friendly, pleasant and accommodating as well. Breakfast was great also. Howie the donkey and the goats were entertaining, a walk to the River was so peaceful. A wonderful couple days in the NC mountains!
What a fantastic couple of days. Stayed in the Loom House, clean, comfortable and the perfect getaway for my wife and I. The staff is so attentive, and the work they are doing to upgrade the facilities to meet demands of the community are exciting. What an excellent place for a wedding, or just a getaway. We have been coming here for 15 years and it just keeps getting better. We can't wait to get back.
