The Mast Farm Inn was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1972, as "one of the most complete and best preserved groups of nineteenth century farm buildings in western North Carolina." Thanks to inspired restorations and loving care, The Mast Farm Inn welcomes visitors today as it did a hundred years ago, providing outstanding meals and comfortable period-modern rustic lodging in a unique setting. The Restaurant at The Mast Farm Inn, specializes in "natural hand-crafted organic cuisine offered with a noteworthy collection of imported & domestic wines and beers", and is often cited as one of the 3 finest gourmet restaurants within a 50 mile radius. The landmark Mast Farm Inn designates the start of the newly created Valle Crucis Historical District. Established in 1810, today The Mast Farm Inn, is world renown for its authentic historical setting, fine rustic lodging, and organic gourmet farm dining.
"The Mast Farm Inn was recommended to me by a colleague, who couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful and charming the Inn was. After visiting last fall, I loved it so much, I’m now planning my wedding there. Danielle has been instrumental in the planning process and attending to every detail, many of which I hadn’t even thought about yet! I hear from several friends how stressful it is to plan a wedding. Yet, I feel completely relaxed, due to working with Danielle."
"Dear Mast Farm Inn Family Owners: We want to thank you for a lovely weekend that quickly improved even more when you offered us an upgrade from a room to a cottage. It was comfortable, very clean and lovely and not too far from the main inn to keep that feel of the whole place. We enjoyed the design of the cottage at Maple Spring and the view through the pines. We loved it all! We both enjoyed our entrees our first night: Tempeh and Pork Chops and Asparagus. Also everyone who works there is gracious, smiling and is so pleased to help. Wow! Thank you & we look forward to another visit"
"It was a great pleasure to meet you and your family. We are delighted to be acquainted with such a lovely family. Thank you very much for your kindness and hospitality. We had the most incredible time and we enjoyed your company tremendously."
