One Night for Lovers
Here’s our recommendations for a romantic evening in Valle Crucis and Boone, NC.
3:00 PM:
Check in at the Mast Farm Inn. Grab a cup of coffee and a treat from Velva’s Sweet shop before heading to your room to settle in.
4:00 PM:
Walk to our access point on the Watauga River with your coffee and treat. Enjoy the river views. Pet the ponies. Or step in the sauna!
5:00 PM:
Turn on the fireplace in your room, unpack, settle into the clawfoot tub with our specialty scented bath grains.
6:00 PM:
Get dressed up with your sweetie to head out to dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, probably Vidalia’s, in downtown Boone.
8:00 PM:
Walk from Vidalia’s in downtown Boone to the recently restored and historic Appalachian Theatre for a concert or a viewing of a classic movie.
10:00 PM:
Stop in for a drink at The Valle Tavern
11:00 PM:
Head upstairs to your room. Turn on that fireplace. Settle in and sleep well on our smooth sheets and plush bedding.
9:00 AM:
Come downstairs, in your pajamas still if you prefer, and join your fellow guests for breakfast. We’ll be serving something hot, comfy, and southern for breakfast. Bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit anyone?
10:30 AM:
Pack your bags, say goodbye to us, and hit the road…but not too fast
10:33 AM:
Stop into the Mast General Store, our historical relatives, to shop for winter gear, home goods, outdoor equipment, wool socks, or just get some old fashioned candy for the road.
