History
Uncle Finley and Aunt Josie’s two sons did not continue the inn after their parents’ deaths in the 1930s. Joe, the younger, who was blind, lived in the house until 1964, when ill health forced him to move away.

Guest Reviews
"Danielle, Every time he speaks to his parents about the wedding, he talks to them about your dedication and high level of service. I know that for him having you taking care of things makes the entire event less stressful! For me, not only is it less stress, but it’s also someone I can talk to ceaselessly about the wedding and details. I’m entirely too detail oriented and having you has made it possible for us to have our dream wedding. Thank you."

"We had a great time during our stay – I just wished we could have stayed for New Year’s Eve but the 14 hour travel was too much. That is why we left Saturday and arrived home on Monday, New Year’s day. We will be back. The supper at the Inn was fantastic and the sights around Boone and other parts were also very enjoyable. Thank you for being the perfect hostess, we have already been telling people about our stay with you. Your Friend’s from Canada"

"Thank you so much! I also just wanted you to know that your enthusiasm, your hard work, and your high level of customer service makes my life so much easier. I don’t think I could plan all this without you! You are truly great at what you do."
