All Mast Farm Inn guests enjoy a hearty, hand-made, two-course country gourmet breakfast every morning from our kitchen. We are also open to the public on Saturday and Sunday mornings. We are thrilled to serve our neighbors the oatmeal, grits, biscuits, and French toast that our guests know and love.

Chef Cody started at Mast Farm Inn at the age of 14 as a dishwasher for our waitress, his Aunt Velva. In 2021, Chef Cody returned to MFI as our head chef where Aunt Velva still serves breakfast. Inn guests and our local community can now mingle at breakfast together while enjoying eggs Benedict, house made pear infused yogurts or sweet potato waffles.

We are currently serving fixed plates that include a starter, entree, juice, and coffee (Bald Guy) or tea (Asheville Tea Co.). We source locally so our meats and cheeses are always from North Carolina.  

Come enjoy breakfast with us, tell our guests about your favorite hiking spots, then enjoy a walk in the garden, stroll down to the river, or sit in our historic parlor. Don’t forget to ask about our mimosas!

Weekend Brunches at the Historic Mast Farm Inn

Private dining for guests is 8:30 to 9:30 Monday through Friday from and 8:30-9:00 or by reservation on Saturday and Sunday, however we will always seat guests. Non-guests are welcome to join us for breakfast Saturday and Sunday mornings from 9:00 – 11:00 AM by reservation.

Special Dietary Needs

We have choices for everyone

Are you vegan or vegetarian or have special dietary needs? If you have other special dietary needs or allergies we can address those needs. We need some notice in order to assure that we design meals for the duration of your stay which are in harmony with your culinary philosophy, needs and remain gourmet delicious. Call the front desk at 828-963-5857 at least a week prior to your arrival. There is a $5 special diet fee.
