Torrence Photography • For the last eleven years of his life, Stephen Torrence has had very few days without a camera by his side, but in 2004 he found his ideal focus in wedding photography.

Blended with the photojournalistic approach to wedding photography, Torrence Photography is relational, considering each wedding a unique reflection of each couple. The end result is photos that are not only beautiful, but capture moments and even small details that reveal the emotions and personality of your wedding day.

The husband and wife team of Torrence Photography brings a different approach to covering your wedding. They seek to know each couple and their families on a personal level, building relationships with them from the beginning of the process. Stephen Torrence has had a passion for photography since his high school days, was the staff photographer for a Christian camp in western NC, and has been a wedding photographer for over two years.

Claire shares his passion for photography, but it is rooted in her passion for people. During weddings, she rotates between taking pictures, holding reflectors and flashes to provide perfect lighting, and giving support and encouragement to calm nerves and foster joy. Stephen and Claire have been married since December of 2006.
