Renee Fender Photography • I live near Marion, North Carolina. I studied fine arts at East Carolina University. I have been a photographer for as long as I can remember. My family knows that if we go anywhere, they either walk slow with frequent stops or they go on and let me catch up. I have two daughters and I am married to someone I want to hang out with forever. I live in the country. I love fresh air, the sound of trains in the distance and Paul Simon.

Photographs are nothing more than moments, captured in stills that you can hold in your hands. When I shoot for myself, I shoot what nature has made that goes unnoticed – the underside of a flower petal, the antennae on a moth, pollen on a bee’s wing.

When I shoot for others, I also try to capture what might otherwise go unseen – a twinkle in a daddy’s eye when he holds his daughter close, tenderness in the eyes of a woman in love, a touch, a glance, a secret smile. My goal is to capture your moments and give them to you to hold forever.
