The High Country Small Plate Crawl 2013 • Tuesday, September 3rd, Wednesday, September 4th, and Thursday, September 5th, 2013. Dozens of independent restaurants will create special small plate menus, priced from $3 to $8, featuring their cuisine and Chef’s talent. Crawl from restaurant to restaurant sampling the best of the High Country culinary scene. The High Country Small Plate Crawl is produced by Boone Independent Restaurants, The Carolina Epicurean and member restaurants located in Boone, Blowing Rock and Valle Crucis.
Boone Independent Restaurants is a organization founded by local independent restaurants, to present and promote the outstanding independent restaurants that are an important part of the Boone area community, local history and culinary culture. It is the official organization of the independent restaurants of Boone, Blowing Rock, Valle Crucis, and the surrounding Western North Carolina towns & villages.
