Rocky Knob is an 185 acre park in Boone, North Carolina. In 2010, Watauga County, in partnership with the Watauga County Tourism Development Authority, received a grant from the North Carolina Parks and Recreation Trust Fund to assist with the acquisition and development for Rocky Knob Park. Rocky Knob hosts 6-8 miles of mountain bike trails, three shelters, an adventure playground, and picnic areas.

Watauga Leisure Biking Club is an informal club consisting of cyclists of varying ages and abilities who enjoy biking and sightseeing. Cyclists of all skill levels are invited to join. You do not need to reserve a spot, just show up at the designated meeting spot at the appointed time.
